Ingredients for making chili pickle :
- 500 grams of chili
- Half a bowl of ground mustard
- Two teaspoons turmeric powder
- Two teaspoons red chili powder
- Two teaspoons of cumin powder
- One teaspoon black pepper powder
- One teaspoon coriander powder
- One to two teaspoons pickle masala
- One teaspoon of fenugreek seeds
- One teaspoon fennel
- One teaspoon of nigella seeds
- One teaspoon celery
- One bowl of mustard oil
- 2 to 3 pinches of asafoetida
Method of making chili pickle :
First of all, wash and clean the chili thoroughly. Cut them into small pieces and keep them in a big vessel, and mix the masala in them. Mix all the ground spices, nigella seeds, celery, and fenugreek seeds well in the chili.
When all the spices are mixed well, heat half a bowl of oil in a pan. When the oil is well heated, let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix the cooled oil well in this chili pickle. Use only hot oil in chili pickle; this will double the taste of the pickle.
