Ingredients for Aloo Tikki :
- Boiled potatoes—4 medium-sized
- bread crumbs or semolina – 1/2 cup
- cornflour—2 tbsp (for binding)
- Ginger (grated) – 1 tsp

- coriander leaves – 2 tbsp

- Garam masala—1/4 tsp
- Mango powder—1/2 tsp

Method of Making Aloo Tikki :
Peel the boiled potatoes and mash them well. Make sure that there are no lumps in the potatoes.
Add ginger, green chili, coriander leaves, red chili, mango powder, garam masala, salt, and cornflour to the mashed potatoes. Mix everything well. If needed, add bread crumbs so that the tikki binds.
Take medium-sized balls from the mixture and press them with the palms to make round tikkis. Place all the tikkis on a plate.
Heat some oil in the pan and fry the tikkis on both sides till they become golden brown and crispy. If you want, you can also deep fry them. Serve hot Aloo Tikki with green coriander chutney, sweet tamarind chutney, and curd. If you want, garnish it with onion, sev, and pomegranate in chaat style.
