Ingredients for making potato rolls:

Besan (gram flour) – 1 cup

ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp

Green chili (finely chopped) – 1

coriander powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder—1/4 tsp

Red chili powder—1/2 tsp

Salt—according to taste

Coriander leaves—2 tbsp

Lemon juice—1 tsp

Water – about 1 cup (for batter) Refined

flour—1/2 cup

Salt—a pinch

Oil—1 tsp (for kneading)

Water—to knead the dough Oil—as required

Method of making potato rolls:

Heat some oil in a pan. Fry ginger-garlic paste and green chilies in it. Now add gram flour and fry on low flame till golden, till the aroma starts coming. Now add turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, and mix well. Add some water so that the mixture becomes a little thick. Add lemon juice and green coriander and keep it aside to cool. Mix salt and oil in flour and knead a little hard dough. Make small balls and roll them to prepare thin puris. Take a puri, put 1-2 spoons of gram flour stuffing in it, and wrap it like a roll. Stick the edges with water so that the roll does not open. Make all the rolls in the same way. Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls on low flame till they become golden and crispy. Serve the gram flour rolls hot with green chutney, tomato sauce, or tamarind chutney.
