The Common University Entrance Test” (CUET) Undergraduate (UG) 2025 nearly all-aspirants waiting for an update. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to issue the city intimation slip for CUET UG candidates by May 7.This is the key stage at which each candidate will be informed about his/her exam city and date. This update follows the official decision to postpone the CUET UG 2025 examination, which has now been slated to run from May 13 to June 1.
City Slip Before Admit Card: Know the Difference
The city intimation slip is not the admittance card or the admit card. The city slip will let students know the city and exact date of their examination whereas the admit card presumably released 2-3 days prior to the examination will have all the details regarding the complete address of the exam center, shift timings and important instructions.
How to View Your CUET City Slip Online
After the release, candidates will be able to visit cuet.nta.nic.in and log in using their application number and date of birth. Upon entering the security code . The city slip will be available for download. A printed copy is suggested to be maintained for future reference.
Change in Exam Framework: Subjects Availability and Marking Pattern
Introduction of question paper in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode is done in CUET UG 2025. The NTA has sharpened the subject list which consists of 63 subjects, now down to 37. There are 13 languages and 23 domain-specific subjects merged into one category. The new age twist in accepting subjects outside of one’s specific class 12 stream will attract many students. Subjects that remain discontinued will only rely on admissions through GAT.
There will be 50 MCQs in each of these test papers to be answered in 60 minutes. Candidates shall be awarded five marks for each correct answer, while one mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer , no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
