Ingredients for Rajma Masala:

  1. Rajma (Red Kidney BeBeans)—1
  2. (soaked overnight) OnioOnion—2
  3. (finelyed) TTomatoes—2
  4. (makepurepuree; takesp.)tsp.
  5. nger-garlic paspaste—1
  6. Green cchili—1 (chd)
  7. Turmeric powder—powder—1/2
  8. oriander popowder—1r—
  9. chilichili powder—1/2p
  10. Garam masalamasala—1/2p
  11. alt— per taste
  12. Oil or ghee—2—2
  13. Coriander leaves—r garnishing
  14. Water— per requirement

How to Make Rajma Masala :

Soak the rajma overnight. Then boil it in a cooker for 3-4 whistles, till the rajma becomes soft.

Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and fry till it becomes golden. Now add ginger-garlic paste and green chili.Fry for 1 minute. Add tomato puree and add turmeric, coriander powder, red chilipowder, and salt, and fry well till the oil separates from the masala. Add boiled rajma to the masala. Add some water to it, cover, and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes so that the rajma absorbs the flavor of the spices. Now add garam masala, sprinkle green coriander on top, and serve. Serve Rajma Masala with hot rice (Rajma Rice), paratha, or naan.
