For making this, we need thin noodles and some vegetarian ones, which you can choose as per your choice and liking. For making this, it gets ready very quickly, and you can also prepare it at home in the children’s tiffin.

Ingredients of making Hakka Noodles:

  • Hakka Noodles—200 gms
  • Carrot (chopped) – 1
  • Capsicum—1
  • Cabbage—1 cup (chopped)
  • Spring onion—2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Onion—1 (chopped)
  • Garlic—1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Ginger—1 tsp (chopped)
  • Soya sauce—1 tbsp
  • Vinegar—1 tsp
  • Chili sauce—1 tsp
  • Black pepper—1/2 tsp
  • Salt—as per taste
  • Oil—2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil (optional) – 1 tsp

Method to make Hakka Noodles:

Heat water in a vessel, and add some salt and oil. Add Hakka noodles and boil for 6-7 minutes until they become soft (do not overcook). Drain and wash with cold water and apply a teaspoon of oil and keep aside. Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add garlic, ginger, and onion and fry on high flame. Now add all the chopped vegetables and fry on high flame for 2-3 minutes. Now add boiled noodles. Add soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, black pepper, and salt. Mix everything well and stir for 2 minutes.

Serve hot by adding green onions. Serve Hakka noodles with Manchurian, chili paneer, or soup. Also perfect as a children’s tiffin or party snack. Cook vegetables on a high flame so that they remain crunchy. Use freshly boiled noodles; do not overcook. Using sesame oil enhances the taste.
