Sky High Dreams Take Flight from Hisar

A historic milestone for regional connectivity in Haryana as of today, Hisar too flies with Chandigarh only one hour away by air. Gone are the tiring 4-hour road trip of 252 km which driving now can be done in 60 minutes. The first journey from Hisar Airport of Maharaja Agrasen to Chandigarh Airport of Shaheed b.h Gat Singh was started by His Majesty Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini himself, himself took his first flight marking new frontiers for state aviation.

CM Saini Calls It “A Step into the Future”

Optimistically telling the flight goodbyes in his voice, CM Saini announced this is not only a new route launch but a shot called “Future of Haryana” by CM Saini. “Almost 28 crores shall be benefitted from this connectivity,” he added Saini said that this will be a new dawn of economic upliftment, tourism, and Hisar turning into an industrial love neighborhood in the coming years.

Air Travel Now Twice a Week at Just ₹1700

This new flight service will be operated by Alliance Air, with flights on Mondays and Fridays. The 48-seater aircraft will take off from Chandigarh at 3:20 PM and land on Hisar at 4:30 PM. The return flight leaves at 4:55 pm and lands in Chandigarh at 5:55 PM. Fares range from around₹1700 (inclusive of taxes and surcharges) on average, but it may go up or down depending on demand-driven pricing.

It’s not the end… it’s the take-off Early in April, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an air service on Hisar to Ayodhya. Flights to Hisar are very few currently, flights from Ayodhya & Delhi are operational as such. Now coming on the radar Next will be Jammu, Jaipur, and even the greenery capital Dharamshala. Prashant Fulmare, Director of Airport has told the telecom paper that permissions are awaited from DGCA for a flight between Hisar- Chandigarh-Dharamshala.
