kulfi Making Tips: The thought of a cold kulfi in summers makes one’s mouth water. And if it is homemade, pure and creamy, then it’s amazing! This is a great way to save children and adults from the adulterated ice creams and kulfis available in the market. Let me tell you about this recipe in a more interesting way, in a very Desi way, along with some important tips and search results.

An easy way to make creamy kulfi at home

Imagine, getting a cold, homemade kulfi in the hot sun! It tastes different, right? And it’s not that difficult to make either. Just a few simple ingredients and a little love!

Ingredients you need:

One liter of full cream condensed milk

One and a half teaspoons cornflour

Two teaspoons milk powder – this will make the kulfi even creamier! Half cup sugar (you can add more or less according to your taste)

Some dry fruits like almonds, cashews, pistachios – finely chopped

One teaspoon cardamom powder – for fragrance!

How to make creamy kulfi:

First of all, put full cream milk in a heavy bottom vessel and keep it for heating.

When the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame. Now take out some cold milk in a bowl.

Add one and a half teaspoon cornflour and one and a half teaspoon milk powder in this cold milk and mix it well so that there are no lumps.

Add this cornflour mixture slowly in the boiling milk and keep stirring continuously. You will see that the milk will start thickening immediately!

Now add sugar and cardamom powder to it, mix and turn off the gas. Let the milk cool down a little. Keep in mind that the milk should become very thick, only then the kulfi will become creamy.

Now chop the almonds, cashews and pistachios very finely.

Put some cooled milk and chopped dry fruits in a mixer jar and stir it once. This will grind the nuts a little and give a good taste to the kulfi.

Fill this mixture in kulfi molds (or small glasses, bowls).

Now keep these molds in the freezer for 7-8 hours or until they freeze well.

That’s it! Your creamy and delicious kulfi is ready!

How to easily remove kulfi from the mold:

Sometimes it becomes difficult to remove frozen kulfi from the mold. Here is an easy way:

Before freezing the kulfi, put butter paper in the mold. Then pour the kulfi mixture. When the kulfi freezes, it will come out easily by holding the butter paper and pulling it.

Another way is to dip the mold in lukewarm water for a while. The kulfi will melt slightly from the edges and will come out easily.
