Ingredients for making bread cake :
- Bread slices—8-10 (edges cut)
- Milk—1 cup
- Powdered sugar—1/2 cup
- Cocoa powder—2 tablespoons (optional, if you want chocolate flavor)
- Baking powder—1 teaspoon
- Vanilla essence—1/2 teaspoon
- Butter or oil—2 tablespoons
- Chocolate syrup or grated chocolate—for decoration
- Chopped nuts—2 tbsp (optional)
Method of making bread cake :
Break the bread slices into small pieces. Make a smooth paste by adding milk and bread in the mixer. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, butter, and vanilla essence to the bread paste. Mix everything well so that there are no lumps. Take a heavy-bottomed vessel and put salt in it, and keep a stand. Preheat for 5 minutes. Now grease the cake mold, pour the batter, and place it in the vessel. Cover and bake on low flame for 30-35 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Bake the cake mold for 30-35 minutes. After it cools down, garnish with chocolate syrup or nuts. Cut the slices and serve. Perfect for children’s birthdays, tea time, or a sweet craving. Can be kept in the fridge and eaten for 2-3 days. If you want to add an egg, you can add one egg to the batter. Use vanilla, fruit, or coconut powder instead of chocolate flavor.
