Masala Roti: Often we get bored of eating the same type of roti, so you must try this masala roti once. It is very easy to make masala roti. In this, we prepare very tasty masala roti by mixing some selected ingredients, which is prepared very easily and quickly in our kitchen.

Ingredients for making masala roti :

  • Wheat flour—2 cups
  • Onion—1 finely chopped
  • Tomato—1 finely chopped
  • Green chili—1 finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves—2 tbsp
  • Ginger—1 tsp (grated)
  • Red chili powder—1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder—1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder—1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds—1/2 tsp
  • Salt—according to taste
  • Oil or ghee—for frying
  • Water—for kneading the dough

Method of making masala roti :

Take flour in a large bowl. Add onion, tomato, Add green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, and all the spices. Add water as per requirement and knead a little hard dough. Cover it and keep it for 10 minutes. Take a dough ball and roll it with the help of dry flour. Heat a pan. Apply ghee or oil on both sides of the roti and fry it till it becomes golden and crispy. Serve garam masala roti with curd, pickle, or chutney. Perfect for kids’ tiffin or light breakfast. If you want, you can add grated carrot or cheese in it too. If the tomatoes are too juicy, then use them after removing the seeds so that the dough does not become loose.
