Method of preparing soya keema Ingredients :
- Soya Chunks 1 cup
- Onion (finely chopped): 2 medium
- Tomatoes (finely chopped): 2 medium
- Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green chillies (finely chopped): 1-2
- Oil or ghee, 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnish
Method of making soy keema :
Soak soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes. Squeeze well and grind coarsely in a mixer or chop finely. Heat oil in a pan, add onion, and fry till golden brown. Now add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies; fry for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and add spices (turmeric, coriander, and chili powder).
Fry the masala till it leaves oil. Now add ground soy and mix well with the spices. Mix. Cover and cook on low flame for 7-10 minutes. Add garam masala and green coriander.
