Hyundai Creta EV vs Tata Nexon EV : In India, electric SUVs have suddenly stamped their authority for personal transport. 2025 will certainly be an important year for two rival contenders, with the Hyundai Creta EV and the facelifted Tata Nexon EV fast rushing in to snatch the thunder. If you plan to own an electric SUV this year, chances are high that both models have something worthy to offer. But which one do you really want to wait for? Let’s get into it.

Now, we shall go ahead with Design and Styling.

Already in motion and much seen are the sporty, coupe-like designs of the Tata Nexon EV, which stands to gain mild updates and a suite of new paint options by 2025. On the contrary, the Hyundai Creta EV will have bold, modern styling that modern Creta facelift owners have come to associate with, but with EV-centric styling features, including a closed grille, blue accents, and aero wheels to enhance range.

Performance and Range

Nexon EV versions should continue with two varieties — Prime and Max. Max presently claims a range of up to 465 km, which is decent for city use and highway journeys. The Creta EV is expected to bring a battery pack with a capacity of about 45-50 kWh, enticingly similar to the Kona Electric and offering a range of about 450-500 km. It would further be a notch ahead in performance due to the motor structure with a higher power output that offers smooth and silent acceleration.

Features and Interior

By all means, both EVs will be laded with tech. Tata Nexon EV already comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, and connected car technologies. The Creta EV should come loaded with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, considering its usually high premium.
