India strongly rejects Pakistan’s baseless allegations of involvement in the Balochistan school bombing, calling it a diversion from internal failures. Here’s what really happened.
Pakistan Points Fingers After Tragedy in Khuzdar
Monday morning saw a tragic attack strike the Pakistani city of Khuzdar in Balochistan, when a suicide bomber struck a school bus packed with over 40 children. The blast, which killed four young students and many others seriously wounded. Astonishingly, instead of the affected and the investigation Pakistan merely used to divert attention globally by accusing India for this killing attack.
India Responds: Firm, Clear, and Unapologetic
India has already moved on to dismiss the accusations of Pakistan. In reply, a firm statement from Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal rejecting these “baseless and absurd” assertions. He said India pained at the loss of the innocent lives but this is a mere political gimmick. Jaiswal said India gets blamed ipso facto by Pakistan whenever its internal crises go out of control.
Pakistan’s Pattern of Deflection
Not the first time Islamabad has tried to play the blame game. Pakistan slips into quick accusations of India, but the accusation has carried no credible proof over the years. Once again with the Khuzdar incident being a serious matter, no evidence was presented to confirm Indian activities. According to the experts it is yet another intentional move by Pakistan to turn global focus away from the spiralling internal security crisis in country.
Global Terrorism and a Long Shadow
Remember no group has claimed responsibility for the Khuzdar massacre. Yet the incident is not an isolated one, this has happened before in a region. Over 130 school children were gunned down in Pakistan’s worst terrorist attack at Peshawar in 2014, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan(TTP) claimed responsibility. These incidents point to bigger problems that should not be swept under the carpet with the simple exercising of blame.

India’s Final Word: Focus on Facts, Not Fiction
