AICTE Industry Fellowship: Earn ₹1L+/month, benefits for teachers, apply now

AICTE Industry Fellowship: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched a significant initiative to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The Council has launched a new ‘Industry Fellowship Program’ for full-time faculty members working in its accredited institutions. Its primary objective is to provide teachers with direct and practical experience of the industry, enabling them to update their knowledge and provide better and more relevant education to students.

Currently, this scheme has been launched as a pilot project. During the 2025-26 academic year, approximately 350 faculty members will be trained under this program. If this pilot phase is successful, AICTE aims to expand its scope to 1,500 teachers annually over the next three to five years.

Financial Benefits: Support of over ₹1 lakh per month

An attractive aspect of this fellowship is its financial assistance. Selected faculty members will receive a total support of over ₹1 lakh per month. This includes a stipend of ₹75,000 from AICTE and a minimum of ₹25,000 from the industry institution providing the fellowship. Additionally, the faculty member will continue to receive their regular salary from their parent institution.
