BEL Recruitment 2025: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading public sector company under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced its new recruitment process for 2025. Of the total 340 vacancies, 175 are for Electronics Engineers, 109 for Mechanical Engineers, 42 for Computer Science Engineers, and 14 for Electrical Engineers. Of these positions, 139 are unreserved, while the remaining positions are reserved for EWS (34), OBC (91), SC (51), and ST (25) categories.
Eligibility: Who can apply
For the Probationary Engineer position, candidates must have a B.E., B.Tech., or B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in the relevant discipline with a first-class pass. Relevant disciplines include: Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical.
Also, candidates with a first-class degree from AMIE, AMIETE, or GIETE are also eligible to apply. SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates can also apply with a pass grade.
The maximum age limit is 25 years for the General category (as of October 1, 2025). Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
Selection Process: Based on CBT and Interview
Selection at BEL will be conducted in two stages – a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and an Interview.
The CBT will carry a weightage of 85 marks, and the interview will carry 15 marks. The exam will consist of 125 questions to be completed in 120 minutes. This includes 100 technical questions and 25 questions from General Aptitude and Reasoning.
Each question carries one mark, and a negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for each wrong answer. The minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwD, with separate CBT and Interview.
Salary and Benefits
Candidates selected at BEL will receive an attractive salary package ranging from ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000, with a total CTC of approximately ₹13 lakh per annum.
