Bihar Police Constable Result 2025: Great news has arrived for millions of young people who dream of a job in the Bihar Police. The Central Selection Board (CSBC) released the results of the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Examination today, September 26, 2025. This recruitment examination was one of the largest recruitments ever conducted in the state, with a written examination conducted for a total of 19,838 posts.

99,690 Candidates Passed

According to the official notification, a total of 99,690 candidates have passed the written examination and will now appear for the next stage, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). A total of 17,06,628 candidates applied for this recruitment process, of which 16,73,586 were considered eligible. Of these, 13,30,121 candidates appeared for the examination.

The exam was conducted in six phases

The Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Exam was conducted transparently and on a large scale. The exam was conducted at 627 centers across 38 districts in the state. The exam was held on six different days:

July 16, 2025: 220,528 candidates appeared

July 20, 2025: 224,029 candidates appeared

July 23, 2025: 221,340 candidates appeared

July 27, 2025: 222,505 candidates appeared

July 30, 2025: 220,846 candidates appeared

August 3, 2025: 220,873 candidates appeared

Minimum Qualifying Marks for PET

Candidates were required to score at least 30% in the written exam to qualify. Additionally, five times the number of vacancies available in each category have been called for PET.

A total of 19,838 posts are to be filled under this recruitment drive. The category-wise distribution of posts is as follows:

Unreserved (General): 7,935

Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 1,983

Scheduled Caste (SC): 3,174

Scheduled Tribe (ST): 199

Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 3,571

Backward Class (BC): 2,381

Backward Class Women: 595

Now the next step – PET

Candidates who pass the written examination will now have to take the Physical Efficiency Test, which will include exercises such as running, high jump, and shot put. Passing the PET is mandatory, as it will be used to prepare the final merit list.
