BPSC Calendar 2025-26: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has made significant revisions to its exam calendar for 2025-26. In the latest notification, the Commission has revealed the dates for ongoing and proposed recruitments in various departments. Specifically, recruitment exams will be held in January 2026 for 7,279 Special Educator posts, 935 Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) posts, and 36 Assistant Town Planner posts.
However, there is no mention of TRE-4 in the new calendar. Education Minister Sunil Kumar had previously stated that TRE-4 would cover over 26,000 vacancies. If any remaining posts remain, they will be added to TRE-5.
Updates on the 70th and 71st CCE Exams
The results of the main examination for 2035 posts of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) will be declared in December, and interviews will begin that month. The preliminary examination for the 71st CCE was held on September 13th, and the results will be declared in November. The main examination is scheduled for March-April 2026.
Status of Other Departmental Exams
The results of the teacher and principal recruitment examination at Simultala Residential School, Jamui, have been released, while the main examination will be held in January 2026. The main examination for 47 posts of District Statistical Officer and Assistant Director will also be held in January. The results for 26 Lower Division Clerk posts will be declared in November, and the typing test will be held in December.
Motor Vehicle Inspector and Other Posts
The Motor Vehicle Inspector examination was held on August 9th and 10th, and its results are expected in November. The written examination for other posts like Junior Laboratory Assistant, Law Officer, Assistant Environment Officer, PRO, and System Analyst was held on July 26 and 27, and the results will be released in November.
