Earlier this train used to stop at seven major stations, but now the Railways has decided to stop it at eight stations keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers. The new schedule has brought a big relief to the passengers, as it has further strengthened the connectivity between small and big cities.
Now this Vande Bharat train will depart from Mumbai Central and stop at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Vadodara Junction, Anand Junction and Ahmedabad Junction. After Ahmedabad, this train will go straight to Gandhinagar Capital. This change will benefit thousands of passengers who travel on these routes daily.
Morning journey and evening return
Train number 20901 departs from Mumbai Central every morning at 6:00 am and reaches Gandhinagar Capital at 12:25 pm, covering a distance of about 521 km. That is, passengers can reach the capital of Gujarat directly from Mumbai in just six hours and twenty-five minutes.
On the return journey, train number 20902 departs from Gandhinagar at 2:05 pm and reaches Mumbai Central by 8:30 pm. This time management is very convenient for businessmen, office goers, and tourists visiting for sightseeing.
