EMRS Recruitment 2025: The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has extended the online application deadline for EMRS Recruitment 2025. Bumper Vacancies in Eklavya Schools
This recruitment drive will fill a total of 7,267 teaching and non-teaching positions in Eklavya Model Residential Schools across the country. These positions include principals, PGTs, TGTs, hostel wardens, female staff nurses, accountants, junior secretariat assistants (JSAs), and lab attendants. The recruitment exam will be conducted by NESTS. Notably, a B.Ed. is not mandatory for the Computer Science teacher position, but it will be required for future promotion to the PGT position.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
For the Principal position, candidates must have a postgraduate degree, a B.Ed., and 8 to 12 years of experience. A PGT position requires a postgraduate degree and a B.Ed. in the relevant subject, while a TGT position requires a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject, a B.Ed., and CTET pass. A hostel warden requires a bachelor’s degree in any subject, as well as a B.Sc. A nursing qualification is required for a female staff nurse. Different educational qualifications have been set for accountants, JSAs, and lab attendants.
Application Fees and Selection Process
For teaching positions such as Principal, PGT, and TGT, general category candidates will be charged ₹1,500 to ₹2,500, while for female, SC, ST, and disabled candidates, the fee is only ₹500. The selection process will include a Tier-I and Tier-II written examination, a skill test, an interview, and document verification.
Exam Date Announced
The Tier-I examination for EMRS Recruitment 2025 will be held on December 13, 14, and 21, 2025. The post-wise and shift-wise schedule will be released after the application process is complete. Candidates are advised to intensify their preparations early, as competition is expected to be fierce.
