EMRS Recruitment 2025: The highly anticipated 2025 recruitment process for teaching and non-teaching staff at Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) is reaching its final stage today, October 28th. Interested and eligible candidates are now eligible to apply online at emrs.tribal.gov.in. This recruitment process will fill a total of 7,267 positions, including TGT, PGT, hostel warden, female staff nurse, principal, accountant, junior secretariat assistant, and lab attendant.
Department-wise positions and qualifications
Eligibility and experience requirements for each position in the EMRS recruitment are different. A master’s degree and B.Ed. with 8-12 years of experience are required for principals. PGT positions require a master’s degree and B.Ed. in a relevant subject. For TGT positions, a bachelor’s degree, B.Ed., and CTET qualification are mandatory. Hostel wardens, female staff nurses, accountants, junior secretarial assistants, and lab attendants have different educational qualifications. Notably, a B.Ed. is not mandatory for a Computer Science teacher, but it will be required for promotion to the PGT position in the future.
Subject-wise Vacancy Details
A total of 1,460 PGT positions are available for English, Hindi, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Commerce, Economics, and Computer Science. A total of 2,550 TGT positions will be filled in Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Computer Science. Additionally, a total of 1,412 positions, including regional languages and miscellaneous subjects such as Music, Art, PET, and Librarian, are also included in the recruitment process.
Application Fees and Discounts
Application fees vary by post and category. For Principal, PGT, and TGT positions, the fee is ₹500 for women, SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates, while for other candidates, the fee ranges from ₹2,000 to ₹2,500. For non-teaching staff, the fee is ₹500 for women and reserved categories, and ₹1500 for other candidates.
Selection Process and Exam Details
The selection process for EMRS Recruitment 2025 is multi-stage. It will include a Tier-I and Tier-II written examination, followed by separate skill tests, interviews, and document verification for different posts. Candidates should note that if their CGPA is given in their marksheet, it will need to be converted to a percentage according to the board’s formula and then entered. Candidates cannot select the exam city; it will be automatically allotted by the system.
Exam Dates
The first stage of the EMRS Recruitment Examination, i.e., Tier-I, will be held on December 13, 14, and 21, 2025. After the last date for online applications, the post-wise and shift-wise exam schedule will be released.
