Haryana Weather Update: The mood of the weather has completely changed in Haryana. After the scorching heat and humidity, now the clouds have camped. According to the Meteorological Department, the process of rain will continue in the state for the next three days. Today, on August 14, a yellow alert has been issued in four districts – Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, and Kurukshetra, where heavy rain is expected.
The weather remains pleasant in the rest of the state as well. Light rain in Sonipat and Jind since morning has given relief to the people. The showers falling along with the winds have brought down the temperature, which has reduced the humidity.
Rain will intensify from tomorrow, a yellow alert will be in 11 districts
The Meteorological Department estimates that the rain may intensify on August 15. On this day, a yellow alert will continue in 11 districts, which include Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Faridabad, Mewat, and Palwal. There can be thunderstorms along with heavy rains in these areas. At the same time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Fatehabad and Kaithal, which can be from 0 to 25 percent.
Alert in five districts on August 16, then the effect will reduce
On August 16, the effect of the weather will be somewhat less, but the yellow alert will continue in Ambala, Yamunanagar, Karnal, Panipat, and Sonipat. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in these districts. Meteorologists say that from August 17, there will be a decrease in rain, and the amount of clouds in the sky will start decreasing, although there may be light showers in between.
Relief and challenges together
While the rain has brought smiles to the faces of the farmers, the possibility of waterlogging has also increased in many areas. Especially in urban areas, the problem of waterlogging in low-lying areas can cause trouble for the people. Kharif crops will benefit from the availability of water to the fields in rural areas, but there is also a danger of crops drowning in water due to continuous heavy rains.
This change in the weather in Haryana is a sign of the monsoon becoming active. In the coming days, people will get relief from the heat, but it will also be necessary to be cautious due to heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has advised people to avoid unnecessary travel and stay in safe places.
