Milk Cake Method of Preparation :

Take a heavy-bottomed pan and boil milk in it. Boil the milk on medium flame till it reduces to half. Keep stirring it at times so that it does not stick to the bottom. When the milk thickens, slowly add lemon juice and stir. When the milk curdles and becomes light grains, then reduce the flame. Now add sugar to it and cook while stirring continuously.

The mixture will thicken and start turning light brown. Add cardamom powder and ghee to it. Now pour this mixture into a greased plate or vessel and spread it evenly on top. Let it cool for at least 4-5 hours so that it sets. Now cut it into the desired shape square or diamond and garnish with dried fruits on top.

It is important to cook the milk on low flame so that both the color and taste of the sweet remain. You can also use vinegar instead of lemon. Use only desi ghee for good taste.
