IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025. This time, the official name of the Clerk post has been changed to Customer Service Associate (CSA). Recruitment has been announced for a total of 10,277 posts. The last date for online application for interested and eligible candidates has been fixed as 21 August 2025. This is also the last date for application fee payment and correction. Candidates can take a printout of their application form till 25 August 2025.
Exam Dates
Prelims Exam: October 2025
Mains Exam: November 2025
Candidates who will pass the prelims exam will be called for the mains exam. After passing the mains, the candidates will also have to take a local language test. However, candidates who have studied the language of their state as a subject in class 10th or above will not have to take this test.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university.
Computer Knowledge: Must have a certificate/diploma/degree in computer operation/language or must have studied computer/IT subject in school/college.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years (candidate should not be born before 02.08.1997 and after 01.08.2005).
SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation

Basic Pay: ₹24,050 (maximum up to ₹64,480 with increments)
Pay Scale: 24050-1340/3-28070-1650/3-33020-2000/4-41020-2340/7-57400-4400/1-61800-2680/1-64480
Selection Process
The recruitment process will be in two stages:
Online Prelims Exam
Online Mains Exam
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks of the Mains Exam only.
Exam Pattern
Prelims Exam (100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes):
English Language: 30 questions (30 marks)
Numerical Ability: 35 questions (35 marks)
Reasoning Ability: 35 questions (35 marks)
Mains Exam (200 marks, new pattern):
This time, IBPS has made 3 major changes in the exam pattern –
General/Financial Awareness: 40 questions (earlier it was 50)
Reasoning and Computer Aptitude: 40 questions (earlier it was 50)
Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions (earlier it was 50)
English Language: No change
The total number of questions has now been reduced from 190 to 155, but the total marks will remain 200 as before.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer in both prelims and mains.
