Delhi on Yellow Alert Monsoon Set to Arrive

State Wise Heavy Rainfall Alerts
Western and Central India-Gujarat Maharashtra Konkan and Goa Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada are likely to get heavy or very heavy rainfall from June 25 to June 30. Cities like Surat and Nashik have already seen waterlogging or flooding so people should stay alert.
North and Northwest India-Punjab Haryana Himachal Pradesh Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh are likely to get isolated heavy showers between June 25 and June 30. Uttarakhand may see very heavy rainfall from June 25 to June 27 so local residents should take care.
East and Northeast India-Bihar, Jharkhand Odisha , Chhattisgarh and West Bengal are likely to get light or moderate rain with thunderstorms. Bihar could get very heavy rain on June 28 and Jharkhand may get heavy rain on June 26 and Odisha on June 25 or June 26.
West Bengal is likely to get heavy downpours in both north and south Bengal so there is a risk of flash floods and landslides in places like Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar.
Northeast states will get daily rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds so people should stay prepared through the week.
