Jharkhand Warder Recruitment 2025: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Warder positions in 2025. This recruitment process will fill a total of 1,733 positions, including both regular and backlog vacancies. This recruitment is being conducted under the Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Services, under the Department of Home, Prisons, and Disaster Management, Government of Jharkhand.

Vacancy Details:
Out of a total of 1,733 posts, 1,698 are regular and 35 are backlog posts. 1,653 are reserved for male candidates and 80 for female candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
Age Limit (as of August 1, 2025):
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years (relaxations apply for different categories)
Physical Standards:
Male:
General, OBC, EWS: Height at least 160 cm, chest at least 81 cm
SC/ST: Height at least 155 cm, chest at least 79 cm
Female:
Height at least 148 cm
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Male: 1600-meter run in 6 minutes
Female: 1600-meter run in 10 minutes

Level-2: ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month
