Kangana Ranaut: Bollywood’s outspoken actress Kangana Ranaut has once again made headlines with her statement. This time, she has called Prime Minister Narendra Modi “the world’s biggest feminist”. In a recent interview with Hauterfly, Kangana said that the work done by Modi ji in the interest of women is unmatched anywhere in the world.
“Judge a leader by his work, not by his words.”
Kangana started the conversation by saying that the real character of any person is reflected by their work, not by their speeches. She said, “If you want to know about someone, don’t listen to his words, look at his work. Modi ji started working on the basic needs of women as soon as he came.”
Kangana reminded that after becoming the Prime Minister, Modi first started a campaign to build toilets. “People said, ‘What is this, he is building toilets as soon as he came?’ But he understood that the dignity of women starts from here,” Kangana said.
From kitchen to bank account: Empowerment
Kangana also praised the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, under which crores of women got free gas connections. “He saw that women are cooking in smoke, their eyes are burning, their health is deteriorating. He said – Give them gas. This is sensitivity,” she said.
Along with this, she mentioned the Jan Dhan Yojana, under which women opened bank accounts and got financial freedom.
Gave a new direction to representation
According to Kangana, Modi’s work was not limited to facilities, but he also took steps to increase women’s participation. “He asked, ‘Why are there so few women here?’ and then made policies to bring about change,” Kangana said.
“Silent feminist”
Kangana concluded by saying, “I don’t think there is any bigger feminist than him. The work he has done is countless. What I like about him is that he is a silent feminist – he doesn’t make noise, he just works.”
Her statement has become a topic of discussion on social media. Supporters agree with her opinion, while some critics are also raising questions. But according to Kangana, Modi’s record speaks for itself – and this is what makes him “the world’s biggest feminist”.
