Next-Gen Hyundai Venue : Hyundai Venue has had a strong hold in the compact SUV segment in India. For the last six years, this car has remained the choice of Indian customers, but now the company is preparing to give it a completely new look. Its new avatar is likely to come in the market during the festive season. Hyundai is going to change a lot about this updated model, but will try to keep the cost under control by retaining its existing platform.
Major changes will be seen in the exterior design
The new generation Hyundai Venue will have a completely new design. Its front fascia is being made very strong and attractive. Looking at this, one can also get a glimpse of Hyundai’s flagship SUV Palisade, which has a large radiator grille, vertical headlamps with C-shaped DRLs. This design will feel bolder and more premium than before.
Talking about the side profile, it can see new roof rails, wider rear window, sharp belt line and 16-inch alloy wheels in a completely new style. At the rear, there will be a new taillight design that includes a three-point lighting style with technical finish.
New experience will also be available inside the cabin
Hyundai is going to bring a big change in the interior of the new Venue. It will have a new dashboard layout, a larger touchscreen display, a new steering wheel and better quality seats. Apart from this, the center console will be made more convenient and user-friendly. Features like panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats are also expected to be available in special variants.
There will be a big upgrade in safety features and technology
As far as safety is concerned, Hyundai is going to make a big change in the new Venue. It will have six airbags as standard in all variants. Along with this, many advanced safety features like 360-degree camera, level 2 ADAS technology, and front and rear parking sensors can also be given in it. The structure of the vehicle can also be strengthened more than before so that the safety standards can be improved.
There will not be much change in the engine option
As far as the engine is concerned, Hyundai can offer the same engine options that are available in the current Venue. These include 1.2 liter petrol, 1.0 liter turbo petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engines. Transmission options will include 5-speed and 6-speed manual, as well as 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. There may be a slight improvement in engine power and performance.
Launch timing and market position
The new generation Hyundai Venue will be launched in this year’s festive season, that is, its booking and sales can start between September and November. Hyundai is introducing this car in a new form to compete with cars like Tata Nexon and Maruti Brezza so that it can maintain its hold in the market.
