Panchayat Season 4 Review: Love And Political Drama in Phulera—Did It Meet Audience Expectations?

Panchayat Season 4 Review: Phulera Faces Poll , Love Tensions and a New Twist

Panchayat Season 4 on Amazon Prime brings rural politics and emotions together in a fresh way. Does it still connect with fans like before or has it taken a new path?

The Calm Is Over Phulera Turns Political

Phulera has always been peaceful in its own way but Season 4 changes everything. The new season of Panchayat, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, takes us straight back to the village just after the attack on Pradhan Ji. Things are different now and emotions run high in every corner. The days of simple problems are gone as people get caught up in power and politics.

Manju vs Kranti The Election Drama Begins

This time Manju Devi is ready to fight. She is standing for the Pradhan’s post and her symbol is the bottle gourd. On the other side is Kranti Devi who has the pressure cooker. The race between them is not just a fight for power but also a clash of strong personalities. In the middle of all this is Secretary Ji who is waiting for his CAT exam result. He is also thinking about Banrakas and his growing feelings for Rinki keep pulling at him in quiet moments.

Performances Shine Banrakas Steals the Show

The cast feels familiar and warm but they have grown. Raghubir Yadav shows real emotion and pain after the attack and Neena Gupta becomes even more powerful as Manju Devi. What surprises most is Banrakas played by Durgesh Kumar. He gives a deep emotional performance that makes you watch him more closely. And actors like Faisal Malik and Sunita Rajwar hold their ground in every scene.

Good Direction But Writing Lacks the Old Spark

Director Deepak Mishra knows Phulera and brings it alive again. The village still feels real and familiar. But Chandan Kumar’s writing this time is not as strong as before. Some lines feel flat or rushed and a few scenes feel like they stay too long. What once felt sharp now feels a little stretched.

A Political Punch With Familiar Emotions

So is Panchayat Season 4 still worth watching The answer is yes and maybe. It tries something new and that makes it bold. It is emotional and grounded and fans will still find warmth in the world of Phulera. But those expecting the same old magic might feel something has changed. And maybe that’s not a bad thing.
