Perfect recipe for breakfast: If the day starts with a healthy and tasty breakfast, the whole day is full of energy. Often in the morning rush, we do not understand what to make for breakfast that can be prepared quickly and that everyone, children and adults, will like. In such a situation, semolina chilla is a perfect option. It is not only prepared quickly but is also light and nutritious. The taste of vegetables and spices in it makes it even more special. Ingredients required to make semolina cheela

1 cup fine semolina

1 cup water

1 onion (finely chopped)

1–2 green chillies (according to taste)

1 small piece of ginger (grated)

Green coriander leaves (finely chopped)

¼ teaspoon celery

1 pinch red chilli powder

1 pinch turmeric powder

Salt according to taste

Oil for frying

Method of making semolina cheela

First of all, sieve the semolina and put it in a bowl. Add water to it and mix well and cover, and keep it for about half an hour.

Now wash the onion, green chilli, ginger and coriander and chop them finely.

When the semolina swells and becomes soft, add vegetables and all the spices (celery, turmeric, red chilli and salt) to it and mix.

If the mixture seems too thick, then add about ¼ cup more water to it. The consistency of the batter should neither be too thin nor too thick.

Heat a non-stick griddle or pan and add a little oil.

Now pour the batter into the pan and spread it lightly. Be careful not to spread it too thin.

Cover and cook on a low flame so that the chilla gets cooked well from inside.

When one side becomes golden, gently turn it and cook the other side as well.

Serve the prepared chilla with green chutney or tomato sauce. If you want, you can also serve it to children by adding cheese and herbs on top.
