RPF Recruitment Now Annual: SSC to Conduct Constable & SI Exams, Big Boost for Railway Jobs

RPF Recruitment Now Annual: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has shared some good news for young people looking for jobs in the Railways. Recruitment for constables, sub-inspectors (SIs), and inspectors in the RPF (Railway Protection Force) will now be conducted annually. This is a major change, as previously, these recruitments were conducted every four to five years. This decision will provide regular opportunities for young people and help the RPF improve cadre management.

Changed Recruitment Process: SSC will now conduct the recruitment process

Another important change has also been made. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will now conduct the RPF recruitment exams instead of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). This will make the examination process more centralized and systematic.

Qualifications and Age Limit

RPF Constable: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board. The age limit is 18 to 28 years.

RPF Sub-Inspector (SI): Candidates must have a graduation degree in any subject. The age limit is 20 to 28 years.

Reservation Relaxation: SC/ST category candidates will receive a 5-year relaxation in the maximum age limit, while OBC category candidates will receive a 3-year relaxation.
