UP Board Exam 2026: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP), i.e., UP Board, has given a big relief to lakhs of students. The board has extended the last date for admission and registration for the High School and Intermediate Examination 2026. Earlier, while the last date for depositing the examination fee was fixed as 10 August 2025, it has now been extended to 1 September 2025.
After this decision, those students and schools have received relief who were not able to upload the fee and details on time due to technical reasons or lack of time.
Now uploaded online till 6 September
According to the revised schedule released by the board, the principals of the schools will now be able to deposit the examination fee in the treasury till 1 September 2025. After this, the complete details of the students and fee-related information can be uploaded on the official website of UP Board till 12 midnight on 6 September 2025.
Earlier, this process was to be completed by 16 August 2025. Due to the increase in time, schools and students have now got an additional three weeks, so that the registration process can be completed without any hurry and technical problems.
Opportunity to correct errors, too
The UP Board has also provided the facility to correct the details of the students. From 7 to 11 September 2025, the principals will download and check the list of students uploaded on the website. In this, information like name, parents’ name, gender, subject, and photo will be seen.
If any error is found in the details of a student, it can be corrected between 12 to 20 September 2025. Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh said that with this arrangement, the possibility of errors in the admit card and mark sheet of the students will be reduced, and the process will become more transparent.
Registration of classes 9 and 11 also increased
Like high school and intermediate, there is big news for the students of classes 9 and 11 as well. The UP Board has extended the last date for registration of these classes to 10 September 2025.
Schools will now be able to deposit the registration fee in the treasury till September 10 and upload the educational details of the students on the website. After this, from September 11 to 13, the schools will download the checklist and check the data. If errors are found, they can be revised between September 14 and 20. The final list and fund letter will have to be submitted by the schools by September 30, 2025.
Big step in student interest
Education experts believe that this decision of the UP Board is completely in the interest of the students. Last time, many schools had difficulty in uploading fees and details on time due to technical problems. Now the extended deadline will benefit especially the students of rural and remote areas.
The new dates will reduce the pressure on schools and students, and the entire process can be completed in a transparent and error-free manner.
