Vaishno Devi Landslide Alert: Heavy Rain Disrupts Pilgrimage, Helicopter & Battery Car Services Suspended

Vaishno Devi Landslide: Many parts of India are receiving heavy rainfall due to which people are facing hardships. The sad news about this beach is coming from Vaishno Devi. On Monday, Katra, Jammu & Kashmir, witnessed heavy rainfall due to which the mountain debris started falling, and due to this, landslides occurred. Battery car service has been stopped for some time.

Due to the landslides in Himkot and nearby areas, devotees are facing a lot of problems, and traffic has been stopped. The government is getting the closed roads cleaned using a JCB. Due to repeated falling of stones on the road, the movement of devotees has been stopped. Now the helicopter service has also been stopped for 5 days due to heavy rains. Here all the devotees are seen travelling on foot, pitthu and palanquin.

The officials informed that it will take some time for the battery car service to become comfortable as work is going on on the road. Keeping in view the weather, all the forces, police, NDRF, SDRF, and other officers are busy in their work so that everything becomes comfortable soon. Devotees are being informed to be careful in these places.
