Farmers to Adopt 1–4 Cows Under New Scheme
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated a new scheme for empowering villages and making the farmers self-reliant. And now, farm households have the option of taking one to four cows under the Mukhyamantri Sahbhagita Yojana. The scheme is not just aimed at protecting cows but is also trying to create a strong cow economy at the village level.
This way, the farmers have an opportunity to gain more through the utilization of cow milk, cow dung, and farm labor assistance. The scheme is designed with the vision of promoting traditional methods of farming besides ensuring the economic stability of rural families.
Cattle Sheds to Be Built Under MNREGA
In line with appropriate upkeep of the cows, the government will make provisions for cattle sheds to be constructed in farmers’ homes under the MNREGA funding scheme. The cows will be given a clean and secure shelter year-round.
Having a defined place for the animals will also enhance their feeding, hygiene, and health. This will, in return, enhance the productivity and health of the cattle to the benefit of farmers.
Free Biogas Units for Clean Energy
Every farmer who goes in for cows shall also be given a mini biogas unit, wherein cow dung shall be utilized to generate cooking gas. This measure will reduce the use of LPG cylinders and kitchen fuel expenses. It shall also decrease harmful emissions, so the village area gets cleaner.
Usage of cow dung in this manner is using clean, green energy and more effectively utilizing organic waste. This can reduce farming p and fuel charges each month for the majority of homes and save money over the long term.
Women and Youth Employment through Cow Services
The program also takes special care of women and youth. Village self-help groups and youths will be encouraged to rear cows, make compost, and generate power. These new enterprises will generate rural jobs and drive the community to self-reliance.
The women will earn employment opportunities through cow dung processing, dairy activity, and organic manure cultivation. This turns the scheme not only about animals but also about actual change in village life.
Boost for Organic Farming and Village Income
It will also provide organic farming a huge impetus. Cow dung as manure and biogas, the usage of chemical fertilizers will decrease. This will result in healthier soil, plants, and food.
The energy made can also be utilized as a fuel for cooking. It can be utilized to drive small machines or lights, offering an energy-saving village model.
One Plan, Multiple Advantages for Rural India
The new cow adoption scheme by Chief Minister Yogi is not only a cattle plan. It is a holistic rural development model. It weaves together cow protection, clean energy, women empowerment, youth employment, organic farming, and improved health for animals as well as humans.
By using tradition and the most contemporary tools, this plan can develop self-sustaining villages and limit city migration. The cow is central to this movement and it’s creating a more robust rural India.
