JEE Mains 2025 Final Answer Key is Out
The final answer key for JEE Mains 2025 April session has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and it comes with big updates that may boost scores for many students. If you’re one of the test-takers, these changes could work in your favor.
One question was omitted, so everyone will receive 4 bonus points
A Physics question from the April 3 morning exam shift has been completely removed from the scoring. That means every student who appeared for that paper will get full marks (4 points) for it — whether they answered it or not. This was confirmed by experts from Allen Career Institute after they reviewed the question
Four Questions Had Two Right Answers
In more than a few cases an answer was right. The NTA has now accepted two answers as correct for at least four questions.
A Maths question from April 3 evening shift
Two Physics questions from April 4 morning shift
A Chemistry question from April 8 evening shift
Whenever you choose correctly one of these, you will get the full marks.
Six Questions Got Corrected Answers
Some answers that were previously considered right in the provisional key have now been updated. The final set of answers in the option comprised six new and correct options.
One Maths question from April 2 morning shift
One Physics and one Chemistry question from April 3 morning shift
One Physics question from April 4 evening shift
One Math question and one Physics questions were there during the morning shift of
April 7.

How Will These Changes Affect Students?
These updates could help many students gain extra marks — especially with the dropped question and multiple correct answers. But not everyone is happy. Some students feel that they wasted time on confusing or incorrect questions and lost the chance to solve others. Others are upset that students who skipped those questions are also getting bonus marks. Experts say these changes may feel unfair to some, but they’re meant to make things more balanced overall.

The official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in., where you can find the final answer key. Please log in using the application number plus your password or date of birth. Hit the download button to have the answer key PDF so as to do a comparison with your answer sheet.
How to Calculate Your JEE Score
Here’s how you can estimate your score based on the final answer key:
+4 marks for every correct answer
-1 mark to penalize the wrong answer for any type of question, while there was no penalty in numerical-type questions.
0 marks for unanswered questions
+4 bonus marks for the dropped question
+4 marks if you picked any one correct option in the dual-answer questions Add and subtract accordingly to get your estimated score.
Result Coming Soon — Expected by April 17
JEE Mains 2025 results Session 2 can be released on any deadline throughout April 17 of that year. Once declared, students can log in using their credentials to check their scores.
Based on the final answer key, the NTA will calculate each student’s marks. The top 250,000 candidates will then be invited to sit in the JEE Advanced tests for the year 2025. As for the cutoff, experts believe it might be between 93 to 95 percentile for General category students, but we’ll know the exact number once the result is out.
