Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition : If you are planning to buy a luxury SUV, then Jeep India has a special gift for you. The company has launched a new variant of its popular SUV, Grand Cherokee, called the “Signature Edition” in India. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 69.04 lakh and it is based on the existing Limited (O) variant, but some great and premium features have been added to it.
The most special thing in this special edition is its electrically operated side step. This feature will be especially beneficial for those who sit in the rear seats, because through this, boarding and alighting the vehicle has become easier than ever. When this side step is not needed, it folds and hides inside the body of the vehicle, due to which both its ground clearance and design remain intact.
If we talk about its interior, then the rear occupants will now enjoy dual rear entertainment screens. Each screen is 11.6 inches and it runs on the Android platform. These displays have high-quality IPS panels and support wireless and AUX connectivity. Not only this, both the screens have the same control interface, which makes the user experience even better.
In this edition, the company has also installed dashboard cameras at the front and rear, which show live footage as well as record during driving. These cameras are connected to the vehicle’s data system and can show real-time or saved video as per the driver’s requirement.

Although this Signature Edition is technically based on the Limited (O) 4X4 automatic variant, no changes have been made to its engine, ground clearance or 4×4 system. That is, the performance and off-road capability of the vehicle remain exactly the same as before.
Jeep India has not yet clarified how many units of this special edition will be made, but the company has described it as “available in limited numbers”, which suggests that its production will remain limited.
If you are planning to buy this new edition, then let us tell you that its booking has started all over India. You can get information about it by visiting the nearest Jeep dealership or you can also check all the details on the company’s official website.
