Ingredients for Kadhai Paneer :

  • Paneer – 250 grams (cut into cubes)
  • Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato – 2 (make a paste)
  • Capsicum – 1 (chopped)
  • Green chili – 2 (chopped)
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
  • Kadhai masala – 1 Tablespoon
  • Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – according to taste
  • Oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves – for garnishing

How to Make Kadhai Paneer :

Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and fry till golden brown.

Now add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a few seconds. Add tomato paste and capsicum and cook for 5-7 minutes, till the oil separates from the masala. Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt and mix well.

Add water and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

Now add paneer cut into cubes and mix well.

Cook on low flame for a few minutes so that the paneer gets well coated with the masala. Now add garam masala and mix well. Cover the Kadhai Paneer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes so that the paneer is completely absorbed in the masala.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with hot rotis, parathas or pulao. Serve Kadhai Paneer with jeera rice, tandoori roti or naan. This will make your dinner special. Kadhai Masala can also be prepared at home. For this, roast the washed spices on a pan and grind them. Always keep the paneer fresh and soft so that the taste is better.
