Kedarnath Helicopter Accident: A very sad news is coming from Kedarnath that a helicopter crashed today on Sunday morning, in which 6 people are reported dead.
When did the accident happen?
It is reported that this incident occurred today, on Sunday morning at 5:24 am, when the Aryan Aviation helicopter was en route to Kedarnath and, due to adverse weather conditions, it went off the radar. As soon as it went off the radar, an emergency call was made in which NDRF and SDRF people started the rescue operation.
This helicopter had taken off from Dehradun to go to Kedarnath, but due to bad weather, it suddenly went missing from the radar between Trijuginarayan and Gaurikund.
No official news has been received from the government yet. It is being said that there were 6 people, including the pilot, in this helicopter, and it is feared that no one would have survived.
This is the third accident in a month, What is the reason?
This is the third major accident in Uttarakhand in a month, which has become a matter of great concern.
June 7th, 2025: A helicopter was going to Kedarnath and due to a technical failure, it was forced to make an emergency landing on the Rudraprayag highway. Apart from the pilot, there were 5 passengers in this helicopter, and all are safe but in this emergency landing, a car was badly damaged. You can imagine how, during an emergency landing, a helicopter came so close to a residential area but was saved from a major accident.
May 17th, 2025: Rishikesh’s AIMS ambulance met with an accident near Kedarnath. In which the passenger pilot, doctor, and 1 person are safe.
Seeing these accidents, should we expect that it is some human failure, or that the weather here is just bad.
