Cricketer Kuldeep Yadav, who has earned the reputation of being a deadly spinner and cool figure on the cricket field, has turned a personal page just now. The left-arm spinner became engaged to childhood friend Vanshika Arora on Wednesday in a low-key ceremony at a Lucknow hotel.
The marriage was personal, having some close relatives and friends from the family. Vanshika, who hails from the same Kanpur neighborhood as Kuldeep, is currently employed in Australia. Both of them have been friends since childhood and the wedding was an emotional one with love and nostalgia for the event.
The hall erupted in applause and cheers as soon as Kuldeep put the ring on Vanshika’s finger. The comfort of association between the couple and their chemistry were not difficult to identify, and the wedding was full of smiles and not show.
Rinku Singh Joins the Celebrations with His Fiancée
Also present at the joyous occasion was cricketer Rinku Singh, who came accompanied by his fiancée, Member of Parliament Priya Saroj. The two also intend to say their engagement vows on June 8 again at Lucknow.
The traditional wedding will be held on November 18 at the Hotel Taj in Varanasi, according to Toofani Saroj, Priya’s father’s MLA. The wedding would be highly likely to be an upscale one with cricket fraternity, film fraternity, and politicians present there.
Wedding Plans on Hold Due to England Series
Kuldeep kept his role under wraps, as he is now set to fly out to England on June 5 as a member of the Indian Test squad. He is set to feature in his first tour game on June 20.
Sources within the couple have revealed that the marriage was being scheduled in June. But since Kuldeep has a busy international cricket calendar, the wedding has now been rescheduled. The new date will be finalized after his tour.
