Ingredients to make Laccha Paratha:

Maida—2 cups (or half-half of maida and wheat flour)

Salt – 1/2 tsp

Sugar—1 tsp

Oil/ghee—2 tbsp (for mixing in the dough)

Water—for kneading the dough

Dry flour—for rolling

Ghee/butter – for frying and for coating

Method to make Lachha paratha :

In a paratha, add maida, salt, and sugar. Add some ghee to it and knead a soft dough with water. Cover and keep aside for 20–30 minutes. Take a dough ball and roll it to make a thin roti. Now apply some ghee on it and sprinkle dry flour. Fold the roti into thin strips like a fan or roll. Now roll it round to make a peda and then roll it.

Heat the tawa and apply ghee on both sides of the paratha, and fry it on low flame till it becomes crispy and golden brown. Serve it with curd, pickle, potato curry, or any gravy vegetable like paneer. Serve with Pyaza Shahi Paneer.
