The “Ladli Behna Yojana” in Maridu 2023 was launched by the former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan (May 2023 till date married women aged 21–60 for uplift purposes on a monthly subsidised scheme. The suspended scheme began with an amount of ₹1000 and raised to ₹1250 during Raksha Bandhan 2023, now taking a total of 24 successful installments, it has disbursed around ₹28,000 crore. In August 2023 and 2024 also women were given a big special bonus of ₹250.
