Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 : Mahindra & Mahindra has made a big change in the range of Scorpio N. The company has now also provided the facility of automatic gearbox in the Z4 variant of this popular SUV. With this, this variant has become the cheapest automatic option of Scorpio N.
The price of Z4 automatic version has been kept at Rs 17.39 lakh for petrol version and Rs 17.86 lakh (ex-showroom) for diesel version. With the arrival of this new option, now customers will be able to get automatic Scorpio even in a lower budget than before. Earlier, petrol Z8 Select and diesel Z6 variants were available for Rs 19.06 lakh and Rs 18.91 lakh respectively, but now Z4 AT has surpassed them in terms of price.
No change in engine option and performance
The engine in Z4 variant is the same as the old models. It has a 2.0 liter mStallion turbo petrol engine, which produces 203 horsepower and 370 Newton meters (in manual) and 380 Newton meters (in automatic). The diesel version has a 2.2 liter mHawk engine that produces 132 horsepower and 300 Newton meters of torque. Both versions come with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The diesel version also has a 4WD option available on the Z4 (E) trim, but the rest of the versions only get rear-wheel drive layout.

Interior features and comfortable design
If we talk about interior features, the Z4 AT variant comes in a 7-seater configuration. It has cloth seats and audio controls on the steering wheel. There are AC vents in the second row and a spoiler has also been installed at the back which makes the looks sporty. Along with this, it also includes essential connectivity features like LED turn indicators, 17-inch wheels (with plastic cover), 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, these features work through wire, that is, there is no wireless support.
No compromise in safety features
In terms of safety, the company has provided essential safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mount, hill hold assist, hill descent control and three-point seat belts for all passengers in this SUV.
