June is just around the corner, and like every new month, it’s bringing some important changes. From changes in LPG cylinder prices to updates on credit card fees and PF withdrawals, there’s plenty unfolding. Here’s everything you need to know before the month begins.

LPG Cylinder Rates Likely to Change on June 1 (Check Expected Price Update)

Every month, people wait to see if the price of LPG gas cylinders will go up or down. It’s one of the first things that changes on the 1st of the month. In May, there was no change in the price of the regular 14 kg gas cylinder. But the cost of the 19 kg commercial cylinder was reduced by ₹17.

Now, all eyes are on June 1. There’s a strong chance that the government may update the rates again. Whether you’re a household user or run a small shop or eatery, this change could affect your budget. So keep an eye out, it could go either way.

Notice for Kotak Mahindra Bank Credit Card Holders: Updated Auto-Payment Charges

From June 1, Kotak Mahindra Bank will apply a fee if your automatic payment fails. This penalty will be 2% of the pending amount, with a minimum charge of ₹450 and a maximum of ₹5,000.

On top of that, monthly finance charges on most credit cards may also increase. It’s a good idea to check your card terms and keep enough balance in your account to avoid surprises. A small miss could cost you big.

EPFO 3.0 Launch: Big Relief for PF Account Holders

For employees with a Provident Fund (PF) account, June 1 could bring great news. The government is launching EPFO 3.0, a new and improved version of the Employees’ Provident Fund system.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently announced this update on social media. A major upcoming feature may allow PF account holders to withdraw their funds directly from ATMs. With over 9 crore members in the country, this change could make life much easier for millions.

So, as June begins, make sure you’re ready. Whether it’s your kitchen gas, your credit card bill, or your PF savings, these changes could impact your daily life.
