MG Windsor Pro Set to Debut on May 6 with Longer Range and Smarter Features
MG Windsor Pro : MG Motor India is now going to launch a new version of its popular electric car Windsor. The name of this new model will be Windsor Pro and it will be officially introduced on 6 May 2025. This new model will be much more advanced than the existing Windsor EV and will be able to cover longer distances.
What will be special in MG Windsor Pro?
The company has given a more powerful battery in Windsor Pro, so that it will be able to cover a longer distance on a single charge. Its design will be slightly modern and some new changes will also be seen in the interior.

Many new features will be added to it which will make driving easier and safer. The biggest thing is that it will also include technology like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which was not in Windsor EV till now.
How different is the new Windsor Pro from the old model?
The Windsor that is currently available in the market has a 38 kWh battery which gives a range of about 332 kilometers. But in Windsor Pro, this battery is expected to be even more powerful. In China, its connected car Wuling Cloud gets a 50.6 kWh battery, which lasts up to 460 km. It is believed that a similar battery can be given in India as well.

It will get an electric motor giving 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque

Price and subscription model
The Windsor EV has already become quite popular in India and 20,000 units have been sold in 6 months. MG also offers a special ‘Battery-as-a-Service’ plan, with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Its estimated running cost is Rs 3.9 per kilometer.
MG’s other plans
MG Motor is now strengthening its product lineup through its new premium showroom network called ‘MG Select’. In the coming time, the company will bring two more new electric vehicles – MG Cyberster (a stylish electric sports car) and MG M9 (a luxury electric MPV). Apart from this, a new SUV named MG Majestor will also be launched in the second half of this year, which will be even more premium than Gloster.
