Ingredients to make sweet lassi :
Curd—1 cup (cold)
Cold water or milk—1/2 cup
Sugar—2-3 tablespoons (as per taste)
Cardamom powder—1/4 tsp (optional)
Saffron—a few strands (optional)
Ice cubes—4-5
Dry fruits (finely chopped)—for decoration
Method of preparation sweet lassi :
Put cold curd in a large vessel or mixer jar. Add sugar and cardamom powder to it. Now add cold water or milk to it and beat well with a hand blender or mixer for 1-2 minutes until froth is formed. Add saffron strands (if you want a special taste). Add ice cubes and blend lightly again.
Pour the lassi into a glass. Add chopped dry fruits on top and garnish with saffron. To make lassi more creamy, use creamy curd. If you want a healthy version, you can use honey or jaggery instead of sugar.
