New Hyundai Venue N : Hyundai is currently working on the new-generation model of its popular SUV Venue. Along with this, the company has also started testing its sporty version Venue N Line. Recently this car has been seen for the first time during testing on the roads, and some of its important design details have also been revealed. It is believed that the new-gen Venue will be launched in the festive season of 2025, while the N Line version can be launched in the market a few weeks later.
What will be special to see in the new Venue N Line?
Hyundai’s N Line series is especially known for their sporty and aggressive design. This time too, the company has made many new changes to make the N Line look different from the rest of the models. If seen from the front, features like new grille design, sporty bumper and faux skid plate become its identity.
Red color highlights have been used a lot in this car – such as red strips on the side door molding, red accents on the rear part of the roof rails and red touches are also seen on the rear bumper. The alloy wheels have also been seen in a new and special design, on which the badge of N Line has been put instead of Hyundai.
Like the previous model, this time also a dual exhaust setup has been given, which makes sportiness felt in both its sound and performance.
Many small and big changes seen in the design
Some design updates have also been seen in the new Venue N Line, which make it different from the regular version. Like square shaped wheel arches, and new type of roof rails give it a more muscular look. Also, the A and B pillars have been given a black finish, which makes its side profile look more premium.
Apart from this, the design of ORVMs (side mirrors) has been made sharper and angular than before. Body color wheel arches give the N Line a slightly different identity from the regular model.
There will be major updates in features and technology as well
Hyundai Venue N Line will see major changes not only in design but also in terms of features. The biggest expectation is that it can get Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features. The earlier model only had camera-based Level-1 ADAS, but now the front radar has been spotted in the testing model, which strengthens the possibility of Level-2 technology.
Many safety features can be found under ADAS like –
- Blind Spot Avoidance Assist
- Forward Collision Warning
- Lane Departure Warning and Assist
- Driver Attention Warning
- Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go
Apart from this, the new Venue N Line can also include features like ventilated seats, large touchscreen display, special N Line steering wheel, disc brakes on all four wheels, stiff suspension and sporty exhaust note.
There will be no change in power and engine
The Venue N Line will get the same 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine, which also comes in the current model. This engine generates 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque. It will be offered with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT (dual clutch transmission) options.
Although the standard Venue has other engine options – like a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5 liter diesel engine, the N Line will only come with a performance-focused turbo engine.
When will it be launched and who will it compete with?
The new Hyundai Venue is expected to be launched around Diwali this year, while the N Line model may come by November or December. In the Indian market, it will compete especially with sporty compact SUVs like Kia Sonet X Line, Tata Nexon Fearless and Maruti Fronx Turbo.
