New Mahindra XEV 9e Variants Leaked  : A big change will be seen from Mahindra regarding XEV 9e in the coming time. The company is now preparing to offer this electric SUV in more options, so that customers can choose the right model according to their needs and budget. A government certification document that came out recently has made it clear that Mahindra may soon launch two new variants of this vehicle in the market.

XEV 9e sales started in March

Mahindra launched its electric SUV XEV 9e in March this year. Currently, this car is available in the market in four variants like Pack One, Pack Two, Pack Three Select and Pack Three. Pack Three Select will now be available in long range as well

New leaked information has revealed that Mahindra will now offer the Pack Three Select variant in the long range version as well. It is worth noting that at present the long range Pack Three variant of the XEV 9e is available for Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Pack Three will now also come in the standard range

It has also come to light from the same document that Mahindra is going to offer the Pack Three variant with a standard range option as well. This will be a better option for those customers who want a car with fully loaded features, but do not feel the need for a long range. In such a situation, they will not be forced to spend more money.

Battery and performance information

The standard range variant of the XEV 9e has an electric motor at the rear which gives a power of 170 kW i.e. about 228 hp and a torque of 380 Nm. It has a 59 kWh LFP battery and can run up to 542 km on a single charge. At the same time, the long range version has a more powerful motor which gives a power of 210 kW i.e. 282 hp and it gets a 79 kWh battery, which can run up to 656 km.

Price and launch timeline

The price of the new variants of Mahindra XEV 9e has not been officially confirmed yet, but it is believed that these models will be kept between Rs 28 to 30 lakh (ex-showroom), so that the gap between Pack Three Select and Pack Three versions can be filled. Mahindra can launch these new versions in July 2025.

Conclusion

After the launch of the new variants of Mahindra XEV 9e, customers will get more options and they will be able to choose the right combination of features and range according to their needs. This move of the company will further strengthen its hold in the electric segment.
