New Premium 7-Seater SUVs Launching Soon in India : The demand for large family cars is continuously increasing in India and in view of this, many companies are now preparing to launch their new 7-seater premium SUVs. 1. New Generation Skoda Kodiaq
The new Skoda Kodiaq is going to be launched in India on 17 April. This time its design will be completely changed and its interior has also been made more premium. This SUV will be locally assembled in India and it will come in two variants. Although it is not in direct competition with rugged SUVs like Fortuner, its luxury feel and price make it a strong option.
2. MG Majestor
This new SUV from MG is actually a more premium and feature-loaded version of the Gloster. It will be powered by the same 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 213 bhp of power and 478 Nm of torque. It will get an 8-speed automatic gearbox and there will also be a 4WD option. It was first shown at BMGE 2025 and is going to be MG’s new flagship SUV in India.
3. Isuzu MU-X Facelift
The MU-X has already been introduced in the international market with a new look and new features. Now the discussion about its launch in India has intensified, but the company has not yet confirmed its launch date or version. This SUV will come with an updated design and may come with new electrified diesel technology, but at the moment its information has not been officially revealed.
4. Toyota Fortuner Mild Hybrid
Toyota is now going to add a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to its popular 2.8 liter diesel engine. This will improve the mileage of the car and make driving more smooth at low speeds. This system is already being implemented in international markets and now this update can be seen in India soon. Fortuner is already the best-selling SUV in this segment in India, so its hybrid version can become even more popular.
