New SUVs to Challenge Hyundai Creta Soon – From Maruti, Renault & Nissan

Hyundai Creta Soon : Hyundai Creta has maintained its strong hold in the midsize SUV segment for the last several years. Maruti Suzuki, Renault and Nissan, all three companies are going to enter the market with their new SUVs, which will compete directly with Creta.
1. Maruti Suzuki’s new midsize SUV
Maruti Suzuki is working on a brand new SUV, which can be launched in the coming few months. It will be sold through Arena dealerships and its size and features will be equal to rivals like Creta. It is believed that some features and design similar to Grand Vitara can be seen in it. This SUV is being made keeping in mind those who want a midsize SUV with Maruti’s reliability and strong looks.

2. New generation Renault Duster
Renault is going to introduce its popular SUV Duster in a new avatar. This new model has also been seen testing on Indian roads. It is being built on the company’s CMF-B platform, which is being locally adapted for India. It is expected to be launched in late 2025 or early 2026. The new Duster can be given two turbo petrol engine options, and it can be available in both manual and automatic transmission. It will be manufactured at the factory located in Oragadam near Chennai, due to which its price is expected to be affordable.
3. Nissan’s upcoming midsize SUV
Nissan is also working on a new SUV which will enter the C-segment and its design will be largely inspired by the company’s flagship SUV Patrol. Its special feature will be that its stance will be high and sporty. This SUV can compete with the Creta as well as come in a 7-seater version which will be positioned above the Duster. It is expected to get a luxurious interior which will include modern features like a large touchscreen, digital cluster, panoramic sunroof, 6 airbags and ADAS.
