Aadhar New App Version Launched Soon : Now there will be no need to give a photo copy of the Aadhaar card nor to send your details to anyone. The government is preparing to bring a new digital system, through which identity can be confirmed (authentication) by just scanning the QR code, just like we make payments through UPI nowadays.

What is this new Aadhaar app?

The government is going to launch a new Aadhaar app soon, which will allow people to prove their identity anywhere at hotel check-in, government services or private institutions by just scanning the QR code. The purpose of this app is to get people rid of the hassle of giving a photocopy of the Aadhaar card.

How will it work?

Through this app, users will simply scan a QR code and their Aadhaar authentication will be done immediately and securely. Neither the Aadhaar number will be visible in it nor any personal data will be shared.

According to government officials, this system will be completely data-protected and encrypted, so that there will be no possibility of any kind of data theft or misuse.

At the time of check-in in hotels or lodging

In government services (ration, pension, subsidy etc.)

When will it be launched?

Although the official date regarding this app has not been revealed yet, government minister Ashwini Vaishnav has recently shared its information that this service will soon be launched for the general public. Technically its development phase is on the verge of completion and testing is going on.
