Next-Gen Citroen C5 Aircross Unveiled Globally – Bigger, Smarter, and Electrified

Citroen has introduced the new avatar of its popular SUV C5 Aircross to the world. This is the second generation C5 Aircross and now it has become more powerful, stylish and full of technology than ever before. This time the company has prepared to launch it in three versions – hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric. Its production will take place at the Rennes plant in France and its sale in Europe will start in the second half of 2025. It can also be brought to India by the end of the year.

Powerful new look

Citroen has molded the new C5 Aircross in a completely new design. Now its look has become more boxy and sharp. The slightly curved design that was earlier has now been replaced by strict lines and muscular look. Matrix LED headlamps with glossy black strip are available at the front which make the SUV quite premium. The Light Wings seen in the Concept model have also been kept in the production version.

Bigger and more powerful than before

The size of this SUV has now become bigger than before. Its length is 4652mm, width 1902mm and wheelbase 2784mm. This means that now it will get more space and the ride will also be comfortable. Alloy wheels up to 20-inches will be available in a Citroen car for the first time. The ground clearance of the SUV is 200mm which makes it easy to drive even on bad roads.

Premium and high-tech interior

On the inside, you will find a new dashboard designed on the theme of ‘C-Zen Lounge’. It has 8 color ambient lights, new comfort seats (with heating, cooling, massage function), and a large touchscreen display which is the largest screen ever in the Stellantis group. It also has smart features like Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ChatGPT support, 3D navigation, and “Hello Citroën” voice control.

The SUV also comes with features like Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), 360-degree camera, and panoramic sunroof. This vehicle is no less than a luxury car in terms of technology and comfort.
